Description

The dataset includes mammal observation data collected between 2006 and 2011 in offshore Angola during the environmental baseline studies, conducted by TOTAL E&P Angola.

Method step description:

  1. The mammal observation records were collected during several Environmental Baseline Surveys conducted in Total's blocks 17. 32 and 33, offshore Angola. The contracted party recorded sightings of mammals from a vessel, documented their observation with a photograph and a species description was confirmed by a taxonomist.
